WORKSHOP & EXHIBITION CALL: Ubuntu Arts – ‘Lost & Found’ @ Goodmayes

What: ‘Lost & Found’ – Free Creative Workshop & Exhibition Opportunity from Ubuntu Arts

When: Thursday 30th July to Thursday 20th August, and Thursday 3rd September to Thursday 24th September

Exhibition Opportunity:
Ubuntu Arts are a London based non-profit art collective. Following their successful ‘Reaching Out’ event in March 2014 they are currently seeking artists to create and exhibit work following the proposed theme ‘Lost & Found’ to be part of their anticipated autumn show.

Workshops:
Registration to the following two courses of workshops are now open for applicants:
* 2nd Workshop Module: Thursday 30th July to Thursday 20th August (Thursdays 2 to 4pm).
* 3rd Workshop Module: Thursday 3rd September to Thursday 24th September (Thursdays 2 to 4pm).

Invitation to enrol on Thursday 16th and 23rd July between the hours of 2 – 4.00 pm at the ‘Art Room’, Goodmayes Hospital.

Selected artists will be given the opportunity to exhibit in the well lit and professionally finished display cases, located on the first floor of Ilford Central Library Exhibition Gallery, located in the heart of Redbridge.

The show will be installed by experienced curators, and invitations, press releases, promotion and opening reception/private view will be organised to the highest spec. along with a opportunity to get involved with a ‘special day’, a joint effort with sympathetic organisations to commemorate ‘World Mental Health’ Day on Saturday 10th October.

Ubuntu Arts will also be taking part in the forthcoming NELFT Sports Day, Wednesday 15th July, 12.30 pm to 4.30 pm, at the Goodmayes Hospital sports field. They will be hosting a small creative workshop,’Fun Recycled Crafts’, and enrolling opportunities for the next two creative workshop blocks.
